Eden McKinley has been best friends with Bonnie since forever. They know everything about each other, Bonnie always has been the perfect student who always gets good grades. So it is a surprise for Eden and everyone and all their family and friends that at one day Bonnie goes missing. At the same time a music teacher at Bonnie and Eden's school has suddenly gone. And then Eden finds out from the police that is on her doorstep one morning to question her, that Bonnie's boyfriend that she knew nothing about is no one else but her music teacher, and that he and Bonnie have run away together. Shortly after the police has questioned Eden, she starts to gets text messages from Bonnie, who even tells her where they are. While the whole country is looking frantically for them, only Eden knows her Bonnie's location, and loyally she is to her best friend, she doesn't tell anyone she knows this. Even when the police starts her questioning her again, and her own and Bonnie's parents and teachers get suspicious. Which leads to a thrilling travel by Eden to Bonnie in the final part of the book, and an even more thrilling rescue of Bonnie.

I really liked the storyline of this book!! It was entertaining, fast paced, and with a cliffhanger like ending that was just thrilling! Beside the main issue of Bonnie in the book, there is also room for romance between Eden and her boyfriend Connor, who helps her in the end to rescue Bonnie. Sara Barnard's way of writing is just fantastic and makes it a fast read. Just when you want to stop reading there is something happening in the story that makes you crave for more. I really liked how she choose not to let the story happen from Bonnie's point of view but from Eden's. You just have to guess what happens to Bonnie at some points, but it makes the stress that Eden and Bonnie's family feel very realistic.

Anyway, this is a very entertaining and good read that I truly recommend reading!!
