But what if that same younger brother is acting anything but the royal norm, causes a scandal and is taking Daisy with it? While she tries to do anything that is asked of her, her struggles become bigger discovers some pretty tricky royal secrets...
This is a perfect read for everyone who loves The Princess Diaries, altough the setting and tone is somewhat different. I guess this book was a little inspired by recent royal events, as for the wedding of Harry and Meghan. The storyline was good. As in many YA books, the main character has a spunky streak and isn't quite in for what she is supposed to do because of her family. I really liked how she pushed herself through all the royal mess and tried to make the best of it. What started off between her an Miles was just very cute! What I did felt about this book that at some points the story fell a little flat. There just wasn't that much conflict or something at the later part of the book, except for some clumsy moments and the royal secrets that where discovered, but those didnt develop or progress further.
Overall, the book was light and good. It's nothing new, but it was entertaining for a few hours.
