When you just finished colllege and go into the big world of being an adult, a lot of new situations, milestones and events happen. A lot of things you probably never managed by yourself before.
''Close your eyes, you just graduated. You're a blank canvas. Paint a picture of your first thoughts entering the real world.''
In this interactive book that is set up as an illustrated diary, you can keep track of some of these ''adult-ish'' happenings. For example: keeping a plant alive for a whole year, you first driver's license and car (draw it!), a check-list for things to look (and wish!) for when you are going to rent your first apartment, a roommate hall of fame, design the coaster that commemorates your first legal drink, the deets of your first online dating experience, page of regrets, the first recipe you mastered to cook by yourself, work playlist, goals you reached, words to live by and so on.The book also contains inspirational quotes by people as Aaliyah, John Green, Mindy Kaling and others. The pages of the diary-style book are filled with many illustrations, like the illustrator just all did it with one black marker.
All the diary options to fill in are fun, but sometimes I wonder for what age the book is aimed for. When you finished college, it might be a little bit odd to describe or draw your first set of grown-up wheels, in that case the book seems more aimed for teens then college graduates. But further on the book is enjoyable to fill in, and the diary entries are a great way for a little escape time out of the real ''adult''world, and to overthink some of the things you already achieved and the things you still want and have to achieve. Overall a book to get your creativity flowing, the way this book is designed lends itself perfectly for this1
