In this final installment in the Heather Wells series, Heather is again very busy again with her job as a resident advisor at FischerHall, one of the residence halls of New York College. She has to deal with a few very demanding parents and prince Rashid from the small oil state of Qalif that is a new student and his entourage of securityguards that are staying at Fischer Hall. She is very busy, because beside her work as a Residence Advisor at Fisher Hall she is busy finishing the final stages of her wedding with PI Cooper Cartwright, that is going to happen soon at the ballroom of the Plaza Hotel. So yes, she is almost too busy for the soon coming event that one of the RA's Jasmine, is found dead in her room. As we know from Heather, she is starting some sleuthing on her own to find out who was behind this, and this time again there are a lot of suspect. Jasmine forever, as Jasmine wrote for the student daily news blog. Does her murder have something to do with prince Rashid, or is someone else walking around campus who might have a reason to silence Jasmine forever?
The Bride Wore Size 12 was the number one book on my want-to-read list, so when I saw it in a bookstore recenly I had to buy it as I couldn't wait any longer! My expectations of it where very high, but I can assure you Meg Cabot has done it again: she wrote the PERFECT finale for this series!!! This is a romantic comedy and mystery in one that keeps you on the edge of your chair. The story has so many awesome twists and turns, it hard to choose where to begin; Heather has really grown in this book. She is't so clumsy, insecure and busy with her clothing size and weight as in the previous book. Her relationship with Cooper was deepened out again, and they are just couple that fit perfectly together. Heather truly loves her job as an RA and takes good care of her students and co-workers Then there is a wide cast of students and residence hall staf that pass the revue: From Magda, the cafetaria lady, to Cooper's crazy sisters and even Heather's mom makes an appearance. Jordan and Tania are not appearing in this book though. Prince Rashid is new to Fisher Hall and is a true player and womanizer, there is something going on between him and Ameera, but what exactly?? The mystery part was as always, GRAND! I did think I knew who committed the murder the whole time, but then so many other characters came along who couldn't have an alibi to murder Jasmine too, so I was lost in the crowd. Great work by the author as it makes you guess even more!! And then there was this awesome plot twist in the end and Heather finally found thie missing piece of the puzzle. A brilliant ending to a fabulous series!!! (And I truly hope that Meg will come up with a few new series soon!!)
