Avielle of Rhia by Dia Calhoun

Princess Avielle of Rhia is fifteen year old girl. Her parents have married her of to a prince, and Avielle really dislikes him. She loves her little brother Raijo, but her elder brother really treats her bad. Dredonia is ruled by the Brethren of theBlack Cloak, who want to take over Rhia. They attack Rhia, and Avielle's family doesn't survive it, so she is the only member of the royal family who heirs the throne of Rhia.

But she is afraid she will be killed too, so she goes into hiding by a kind weaver, where she discovers her real talent for weaving.but as the attacks continue and suspicion of Dredonian Rhians grows, she must find the courage to come forward and save her people.

Dia Calhoun has written just an amazing new fairytale with Avielle of Rhia. I won this book in a contest over at Readergirlz. It was a bit of a Cinderella kind of story, but very different too. I loved reading it and that it was such a huge book was great too, I just wanted this book to continue and this was actually one of the few fantasy books I absolutely liked!
