Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella

At the funeral of her great aunt Sadie, Lara Lington(cousin of the famous Bill Lington who started the Lington's coffee chain, all by himself with just 'two little coins') starts getting visits of a ghost: the ghost of Sadie, only the ghost is not the just passed away 105 year old Sadie, but Sadie in her younger days, back in the twenties, the time of the charleston. Lara is stunned by this sudden appearance, and thinks she is going crazy. Sadie asks her what is going on, is this..her funeral? And where is her favorite emerald dragonfly necklace?

Headhunter Lara soon finds out that the spunky and pushy ghost of Sadie also can be quite helpful: she helps Lara to spie on her ex-boyfriend Josh, who is meeting another girl in their favorite bar. Sadie also tackles a few troubles that appear at Lara's job as a headhunter, and because of this Lara meets her new date: Ed Harrison.

Lara and Sadie's biggest job however, is to find Sadie's emerald dragonfly necklace. Why are uncle Bill and his celebrity daughter Diamantè so mysterious about this particular necklace? And why is Sadie's painting hanging in a famous London museum while Sadie is told it was lost in a fire, and why does uncle Bill tell he world he started his business with just 'two little coins'?
Lara is going to find out all.. and in between..the style of the twenties , including lots of Charleston are dancing through the story.

After the huge succesfull Shopaholic series and a few other standalone titles, Sophie Kinsella created a spectacular, hilarious, smart and very charming new novel with Twenties Girl.
I was totally blown away by the story of Lara and her great aunt Sadie's ghost, who becomes her best friend during the book, and is helping her, and secretly yells in the ears of the people in Lara''s life, so Lara and Sadie get what they want, brilliant! The whole book, especially the finale where amazing, I don't want to post any spoilers here, but believe me, it was spectacular!

I think everyone must try a Sophie Kinsella book for once, and I hope they loved them as much as I always do when I am reading one, Twenties Girl is just as sparkly and brilliant as Sadie's necklace!

The book trailer for Twenties Girl is just as great as the book:
