The Curse of the Good Girl is a very helpful book for Good Girls anywhere in the world. Being a Good Girl isn't easy, and the book gives helpful tools to free girls from their mostly impossible standards and encouraging them to embrace their real selves. I won this book recently in a contest and I recognize a lot of Good Girl issues that are mentioned in the book, like:Good Girl communication rituals, girls in confrontation ("no offense, but.."), apologies, girls and feedback, breaking the good girl glass ceiling, facing criticism and many more topics that the author, Rachel Simmons handles in the book. Stories from girls and women are used in the book, which gives great examples how to handle situations better than when using a Good Girl appearance. A Very useful book for many girls and young women!
