Sea Change by Aimee Friedman

The sixteen year old Miranda Merchant steps on a ferry to the island of Selkie, a small island with a legend and a strange history. She is escaping the hot summer in New York City and is staying with her mom, who has a house on the island, the house that once belonged to Miranda's grandparents, and seems to hide some romantic secrets..

When Miranda is walking on the beach one day, she walks upon a boy, Leo. Leo is mysterious and they immediatly fall for eachother. But soon Miranda discover's that Leo isn't a real human..

Sea Change is a very different novel than the previous books by Aimee Friedman I have read. The story is a perfect summer read and is dreamy and a bit mysterious. A book you finishe quick, but very worth reading!
