Darkest Hour is by far the most exciting and best book in the Mediator I have read so far (still have to read book and 6). The plot is so stunning and fun! wow! It really surprised me how fabulous it was! Meg Cabot created a teen masterpiece with this. Meg Cabot fans, and just everyone else: pick this one! Warning:addictive read, keeps you page turning at the darkest hours in the middle of the night!
