In this sequel to She's So Dead To Us, Ally Ryan finds that some things are just not worth the energy. First her “friends” humiliate her. Then Jake lets her down. Again. Then her MIA father reappears and acts like nothing has changed. Then her mother wants to spend the entire summer at her new boyfriend’s beach house. Breaking point, meet Ally Ryan.
After the year she had, all Ally wants is to be let alone. Unfortunately, the Jersey Shore is not the place for privacy. And if she gets one more text about what Jake Graydon has been up to all summer . Labor Day cannot come soon enough..
Altough I haven't read the first book in this trilogy, it was no problem at all to start in this second book. I immediately caught who was who and what their relation to eachother was. I liked the story plot, altough I think at some points it was lacking some speed and progress. But it was fun to read! My first book by Kieran was The Princess and The Pauper (under her pen name Kate Brian), which I loved, and the same caunts for her books I Was A Non Blonde Cheerleader and Geek Magnet. He's So Not Worth It is just SO WORTH IT to read, its an excellent summer read you musn't miss out, and I loved the end which was a cliffhanger which I didn't expect, can't wait for book three!
