Kendra is having spring break from her part time instructor job, but that doesn't mean she has a lot of free time. Especially because she is helping her friend Lynette with her wedding preparations and helping her sister Allegra with getting an interview with actress Vivianne DeArmont, an actress who has known better days.When Kendra and Allegra attend an event around Vivianne and Vivianne has made time for an interview with showbiz reporter Allegra, everything turns out different than expected: Allegra finds the dead body of Vivianne in her dressing room and that is the start for Kendra to get on the path to find out who is behind this murder and why. She discovers many secrets around Vivianne, who was planning to launch her book shortly, and many more dark secrets in the people around Vivianne: her assistant Harriet, her son Kurt, Vivianne's ex-husband Cliff and his new wife Stephanie.
Kendra seems to be a target for a mysterious person in a ski mask who tries to break in her appartment and seems to want something from her. When she gets notes that her friend Lynette is in danger too because of this and her sister is accused of murdering Vivianne, Kendra is sure to investigate that her sister is innocent and to find the murder behind bars.
I loved this third part in the series just as much as the others I read. It was really a page turner again, I just could't stop reading and wanted to know who Vivianne's murderer was. Angela Hanry really knows how to keep up the mysterie till the very end and how to keep you hooked to the story. Her novels never dissapoint and I just can't wait to read and review part one and three, I am sure they are just as great as this one.
