In this fourth novel in the Kendra Clayton series, Kendra gets back to her high school. She and a few of her former high school classmates are coming together to plan a reunion. And that is the start of suspicious attacks and events, starting that a teacher falls down on the school cafetaria, and it seems to Kendra it was not an accident. More accidents happen to people involved in the reunion, and they all get a message which says: You will pay for what you did!
Who is behind the attacks, and why does Kendra find out this message is related to something that happened in 1986? It gets more and more weird and scary when Kendra finds one of the members dead in her bathrub, and it doesn't seem to be the last one who is murdered, and Kendra will get to the bottom to find out who is behind this and why..
A few years ago , when I even didn't started my blog, I have read the third novel in this series, and I remember that it really was an absolute page turner. This is the same kind of book.
Angela Henry has written a gripping detective /sleuth novel, and I was just hooked from page one. Kendra's narrative voice is both gripping and hilarious, and you really go with her to the end to finally find out who is behind all the murders and attacks on the reunion committee.
I would really recommend this book for everyone who wants a book that you can't put down and pulls you to the edge of your chair.
