In this chilling read, the reader get's to know Lily. Lily is just a normal teenager, living her normal live with her parents and younger sister. One day, a friend of her parents, Luke, who has just returned from work in Africa, and comes to live for a while at their house. Luke is a nice, charming man in his thirties, and Lily has had some kind of idol kind of c crush on him since she was twelve. So she is a little curious how he sees her now she is older.
Is she just imagining it, or he is he looking truly differently at her now, and even..flirting with her??
Lily just can't believe her luck when she seems to see it right, he is! Slowly on, he is telling her he has a crush on her and loves her. And one day, when they are alone, he even kisses her, and Lily feels like the most lucky and happy girl in the world. But..they have to keep it secret, because Luke is in his thirties, and Lily just under 18. What will happen if her parents find out? Her friends and a special lady named Bella who can see through everything before it happen, seem to know earlier what is truly happening. And Lily too, when one day when they are alone, Luke is kissing her again, and then asks her to do something that goes too far. But Lily doesn't dare to say no, and doesn't dare to do so for a very long time, especially when Luke tells her that is the thing that happens if she truly loves him, but why does it feels so wrong then? And then Lukes lures her to this shady dumpy room where they can be alone and 'do Luke's thing'' as many as possible. She doesn't know what to do, especially when Luke threatens her not to tell her parents, as he can make her father go bankrupt and then it is Lily's fault that  her family's live is shattered to pieces. So she doesn't dare to scream for help, until one day she comes home, and finds Luke and her young sister, and Luke is telling her sister the same sweet talk as she did to her, and then she finally dares to run to Bella's shop for help..

This is a book that starts cute and as a reader you think it stays that way, untill the bad stuff starts to happen, then this books that with the cute cover and cute start, starts to get chilling, because every girl's worst nightmare is happening to Lily, she is sexually and later on even blackmailed not to tell by Luke. The part where the this happens was long, so you just can imagine the horrors Lily had to go through. The plot, told in short, verse style chapters would have been more gripping though if there was some more variation between the abuse, and some more seeking for help on Lily's side, and the end was just so abrubt that it left me speechless, as it was ended at the moment Lily asked Bella for help, no epilogue what happened after, nada. It really would have been a nicer wrap up if we saw that Luke got seriously punished for the awful things he did. 
But further on, this is a chilling book that is very well written, and I hope all the Lily's out there will learn from this story is that you always have to seek help as soon as possible!
