She has won a giant amount of money! Suddenly she doesn't have to worry about college scholarships and can buy a pretty car all for herself She can even help out her parents and her brother out with money. And even an uncle she didn't know she had contacts to discuss an investment.

At school, people start to act differently to her. Popular girls who didn't talk to her previousy are suddenly her best friends and being the girl in the spotlight...it's fun! She can even celebrate her previously sorry excuse for a birthday at a beautiful yacht now with her friends. But random people start to beg her for loans, her unknown uncle dissappears with the investment, and her brother throws her loaned money away at a casino, Maddie starts to see that having a lot of money has quite some darker sides. The only one who doesn't take part in the money madness is Seth, who never asks for anything and just want to be nothing more than be her true boyfriend. And in the end Maddie finds out who her real friends are a s some of them have leaked some things to the media.

This book showcases Kasie West at her best!! I have read several of her previous books, but this one really stood out for me. The story was very well written, had a strong plot and I liked the dynamics between all the people in the book. Maddie won a lot of money, but she didn't became a spoiled brat and just tried to be as responsible with it as possible. Some of her friends and especially her brother Beau used her quite bad. I really liked the romance between her and Seth. He really was meaning well and I liked how the author wrapped it up in the end.

Absolutely loved this upcoming new book by Kasie West that comes out this July, and I recommend reading it!!
