Alison Martin (a girl with an overactive imagination and a dream to become a professional detective)and her friends Jenna and Brian are three teens on the detective path after Alison's neighbours car is stolen.
Allison and her friends discover a simple clue that the police overlook. Suddenly they are thrust into the intriguing, close-knit skateboarder subculture that could hold the key to their mystery.
Before they know it, they find themselves neck deep in a group of car thieves connected to organized crime. With nowhere to turn, they are forced to make a tough decision--stand up to the car thieves and jeopardize their families' safety or to look the other way and give up Alison's longtime dream.
Alison Investigates is a fun, fast paced teen novel about three teens on the sleuthing path to find out who is behind the car thefts. I am always amazed by the books by Taylor Joseph, who is a fifteen year old author. It is that she is a teen herself that she can write the best teen novels, and just because she has the talent to be a fantastic author. Her two books The Crossing and Crossing Back where just in one word fabulous, and she continues being fabulous with this fun teen mystery.
