Angela is at the wedding of her best friend Louisa, when she is looking for her ballerina shoes. She reminds that they are in the car of her and her boyfriend Mark. When she opens the car door, she is surprised, and not in a good way, by what is in the car: Mark and his tennis partner who where making out on the backseat..Furious she leaves him and London, and a day later, she wakes up in the Union Hotel in the heart of New York City, where she escaped to to overthink her life.

I Love New York is an amazing and hilarious rollercoaster of a book set in the heart of New York City. Lindsey Kelk has a very authentic style of comedy writing which is just very hilarious and I think many young women can relate to the troubles of Angela.
Fans of Jennifer Weiner and Sophie Kinsella will love this romantic comedy, and I must say I liekd this book even more than the books of Jennifer and Sophie (and yes I mean that as a huge compliment to Lindsey!) I hope to read I Heart Hollywood soon, the only one by Lindsey I haven't picked up yet, and I am really looking forward to what she will write next!
Sounds like a really good book! I have to remember this author's name!
