In this sequel to To All The Boys I've Loved Before, we are back with main character Lara Jean. It picks up where the previous book ended: where she tries to make it up with Peter and and the video of them in the hot tub being made public. He's one of the guys who received her secret love letters and she's trying to win him back…for a real relationship. At first, they started pretending they are "dating" for such reasons. Now, it's going to be a real one and it's something new to her. Until, John Ambrose McClaren, an old neighbor/childhood friend comes back to her life. She's torn between two guys.
Beside her love life, there is a lot of family dynamics in this book. Lara Jean's mother is sadly not around anymore, but luckily she has a loving and caring dad and her two sister Margot and Kitty around.
P.S. I Still Love You is an entertaining sequel to the previous book in this duology.Lara Jean and Peter are attempting to make an honest to goodness go at a relationship. Their interactions are so perfect. Lara Jean is quirky and sometimes snappish with Peter, but he is just so even tempered and let's everything just roll right past him. He teases LJ and always gets back into her good graces whenever he upsets. It's all very sweet. The one fly in the ointment seems to be the constant texts and conversations between Peter and his ex-girlfriend, Genevieve.
One awesome aspect about this book, and like in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, is that it has an awesome cast of colorful characters. All of them are wonderful and have unique personalities. Kitty, Lara Jean’s little sister, is one of my favorites because she’s such a cute kid and pretty smart for her age. I also like her because, without her, this series wouldn’t have happened in the first place!
I loved reading this amazing new book by Jenny Han, who is one of my favorite authors, and recommend reading it Her books are cute and adorable, but they're not as fluffy as you might think.
